Please describe your program and explain why it is considered a mentoring program, as defined below in the TERMS section.

We have 2 programs : Reading Buddies (RB) at Beulah Hts. Elementary and Mentoring at Risley Middle School. RB provides remedial reading help to a small group At Risley Mentors are available one-on-one to visit, to lend a listening ear and ocassionally to help with any classwork/academic skills as needed. Most of our Mentors are retired school teachers!
