Please describe your program and explain why it is considered a mentoring program, as defined below in the TERMS section. | Our program focuses on changing negative behavior into positive behavior. We do this by incorporating physical and mental wellness into the lives of children. This is accomplished through activities such as physical exercise, mindfulness, meditation, yoga, hiking, group activities, and our community service project. The goal is to teach children that through hard work, determination, perseverance, and resiliency, that they can overcome any obstacle in their path. |
